JUST SAIL ACADEMY:
DEEP KNOWLEDGE OF DEEP SEAS..
Just Sail Academy, established with the mission of becoming a school of mission in the field of professional yachting training, set out to train sailors of the future with its experienced instructor captains, latest model boats and theoretical and practical curriculum. Just Sail Academy, which started its training series with 'Life at Sea Training', aims to expand its course catalogue with international yacht training approved certificate programs in the future.
LIFE AT SEA TRAINING
95% of life on-board is almost the same at every boat and during every cruising; however, there is a 5% slice where the decisions and actions taken by the sailor/captain are the key to a safe and enjoyable sailing. Theoretical knowledge alone is not enough on the boat: Vibrations of the sea, curves of the wind, dance of the clouds and the entire movement of nature are full of great data of the seas. At sea, anything can be an answer.
Life at Sea Training, which consists of a 3-days on-board course, has been prepared with a content and flow that will enable you to test your theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of maritime and sailing and to complete your skills.
Everything you need to know, from the clothes to be worn and the materials to be used on the boat to safe movement methods on the deck in bad weather conditions, is presented together during Life at Sea Training. The training, prepared in a modular format, can be customized according to the level and demands of the participants.
At the end of the course, participants will be entitled to receive the 'Just Sail Academy Life at Sea Training Participation Certificate' and will be given a life at sea handbook as a gift.
Our training tours departing from Bodrum/Göcek D-Marin are carried out with 6 participants on our 46-meter boats with 3-4 cabins and 3 bathrooms/toilets. Our training tour calendar is subject to change due to adverse weather conditions and other force majeure reasons.

Senior Instructor Captain Bahadır Ayasoglu
Captain Bahadır, natural-born-sailor, started sailing as a sport in the blue waters of the Aegean Sea at the age of 10, and soon crowned his sailing activity with regional and Turkish degrees. He has specialized in maritime in high school and yacht operation and management in university and made his career path towards the sea.
He worked in every field of maritime and yachting, from yachting instruction to boat transfer, from boat management to charter captainship and rigging.
Captain Bahadır, who describes himself as both educated and self-taught, joined Just Sail family as Fleet Manager in 2024.
MUTLU NAKIPOGLU
Instructor CaptainYASIN CIMEN
Captain Yasin, who is experienced as a 149 gross ton commercial yacht captain has a unique formation in the fields that we can call the analytical side of maritime. He is specialized in preventive maritime safety, emergency management, complex navigation systems, route planning, technical maintenance, high standard operations and crew management.
Yasin Kaptan, who has joined Just Sail family in 2022, serves as Just Sail Operations Manager in addition to the training activities.
BAHADIR AYASOGLU
Instructor Captain MUTLU NAKIPOGLU
Captain Mutlu, who has one of the rare real-life stories that every white-collar person dreams of and managed to leave corporate life and switched to a life mode integrated with nature started his maritime adventure by exploring the coasts of Turkey with the 27ft sail he bought in 2020.
Captain Mutlu was working as an engineer in a private company in Istanbul at that time, but his passion for the sea turned into a life-changing wind taking him to Bodrum Turgutreis. Captain Mutlu made a horizontal and smooth transition from dream to reality and became literally happy as his name suggests (His name ‘Mutlu’ means ‘happy’ in English).
Captain Mutlu, who has joined Just Sail family as Operations Director in 2022, also continues to fly with paragliding, goes on spiritual journeys with yoga, and expands his music repertoire as a good listener.
